With new categories and judging enhancements including lighting and sound, there is something for every model builder no matter what your preference is. FREE ENTRY WHEN YOU ENTER 5 OR MORE MODELS
Register 5 or more entries into the competition and get a free general admission pass for the day of your choice! Pass can be collected when entries are dropped off and registration fees are paid in full. You do not have to register 5 entries at the same time, as long as a min of 5 are registered in total as a combination of onsite and online entries.
Limit of one pass per competitor. Cannot collect on behalf of another entrant. If attending for the weekend, a discounted weekend pass can be purchased less the value of a single day pass.
GhMX Theme Build
We're introducing a new "Themed" Category. Every year, we're going to set a new Theme for builders to work from. You can interpret the theme anyway you like in your build but you MUST incorporate the theme somehow into your entry. Judging will take into consideration the most creative and direct ways the theme is represented in a build. The ultimate aim though is to simply have some fun when building!

Australia's First 3D Printing competition
Are you ready to take on the 3D Print Masters Competition and showcase your 3D printing skills? We’re seeking talented participants with experience in 3D printing and model-making to compete in this unique event. To enter, simply find a teammate (teams are strictly limited to two people), choose a team name, and submit photos of your recent 3D-printed work. Selection will be based on creativity, skill, and innovation. Don’t miss your chance to be part of Australia’s first-ever resin 3D printing competition! The 3D Print Masters Competition is Australia’s first-ever scale model building challenge using resin 3D printers, bringing together enthusiasts and professionals to demonstrate their technical skills and creativity. Over the course of 45 hours, teams of two will design, print, and meticulously paint their models, utilising the latest in resin printing technology. With provided 3D printers from Precision3D, Monocure3D resin, and finishing tools, participants will compete to create stunning dioramas that showcase both innovation and craftsmanship. The event will be held at the Gaming Hobby & Model Expo (GHMX) at Brisbane Showground, where competitors will not only push their limits but also explore new possibilities in the future of model building. It’s a unique opportunity to transform ideas into reality and compete against the best in the field.
